Image Inspirations
As of now the researcher is currently in the solution design phase, where prototypes of the proposed solutions are currently being developed. The following images below are some of the inspirations for the proposed solution to the research.
Title Chapter Designs
Below are some of the images that were designed for the title pages of each chapter. Correlating to the four chapters in our final research book there were four vector characters that correspond to the four sports that are given for intramural sports (indoor soccer, tennis, volleyball, and basketball.)
In addition, below is an example of the title layout page. However, as stated before that the current posts are a little late, and behind in the actually research project, there were some critiques upon the current layout of the book, and thus some changes were made. There will be a later post on the newer layout soon.
CH.2 Layout Preview & Data
Here's a little preview of my layout design for my book and possibly my Chapter 3 Power Point Presentation.
For my layout the color scheme the focus was the SFSU school colors (purple and yellow) inorder to communicate the idea of school spirit. In addition, the type of graphs that were used were stacked bar graphs inorder to show the relationships between native and non-native students within the realm intramural sports.
I know this is super late but its about time for me to update my blog with my progress on my 505 Research on Intramural Sports at San Francisco State.
After We were able to set up our Timeline and Pert Chart, we developed a survey in order to gain data on the topic that we are researching. Below is an image of the survey questions I used.
When deciding on the questions for my survey I tried to keep my questions centered around the idea of my problem and purpose statement so that i wouldn't stray too far off topic, or gain too much irrelevant data.

Problem & Purpose Statements
Problem 1:
Intermural sports at San Francisco State University are fun
and provide an easy way to get to know other students, however their
advertisement and publicity make it hard for students to know how to sign up
and what sports are available.
Purpose 1:
The purpose of this study was to develop an effective method
of introducing San Francisco State University students to intermural sports.
Problem 2:
Students have a difficult time transferring out of Los
Angeles Valley College because the methods and information are not clearly
explained and introduced.
Purpose 2:
The purpose of this study was to research and develop
effective methods to encourage and increase the understanding of transferring
to a CSU or UC.
Problem 3:
Every semester buying books at San Francisco State
University becomes hectic and a hassle due to unproductive line management and
check out procedures.
Purpose 3:
The purpose of this study was to research and develop
efficient check out procedures and effective line management.
